BEST STARTING HANDS

fold your hole cards during the most critical time of a hand
-- before the flop. As you know, the starting hands in Texas
hold’em are predicated on your table position and the
percentages of winning are based on your first two cards.
These hands do assume you are playing with a full table of
10 players, which most Internet poker rooms now have.

INSTRUCTIONS:
There are three table positions in Texas hold'em poker once
both hole cards are dealt. Place a marker on your table
position before the cards are dealt. Once the hole cards are
dealt, find your cards on the charts listed on the
BestPokerStuff mouse pad in the white boxes according to the
table position.

Early Position -
the first person to the left of the Big Blind. That person
has to fold, match the big blind or raise. The person to his
left is also in early position. What hands are good enough
in those positions? Look in the RED CHART only! Play
only if your hand is listed on the red chart.

Middle Position –
The next three seats after early position. Look up your hand
in the BLUE OR RED chart. Play only if your hand
is listed on the Blue or Red charts.

Late Position -
Next three positions. Use all THREE CHARTS. Play
only if your hand is listed on one of the charts.
You can also use the
late-position charts to determine your choices as small
blind and big blind, depending on what kind of betting has
already occurred.

If your cards are
not listed anywhere – fold, fold, fold.

After the hand is
completed and before the next hand is dealt, move your
marker one position clockwise-to the left, around the
BestPokerStuff mouse pad.
